Julissa Corona, LCSW

A woman with curly hair wearing a white shirt and black jeans standing in front of large green tropical leaves inside a greenhouse.

Hi! I am Julissa.

I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals in processing the impact of stressful experiences.

My style is supportive, focused, and authentic. I value transparency, diversity, and relationships.

In our work together, we explore your inner world and identify areas where you’d like to focus.

My goal is to be with you every step of the way, providing support and encouragement throughout the process.

My commitment to learning and providing high-quality services has motivated me to pursue extensive training in Eye Movement, Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), and Natural Processing (somatic processing). I have also received specialized training from Postpartum Support International (PSI) in Perinatal Loss.

I am originally from Panama. However, my heart has learned to have multiple “homes” due to our constant relocations as a military family during the past 20 years.

Our family is now settled in the Charlotte, NC, area, where we are adjusting to civilian life.

I love exploring new places with my family, connecting with others, grounding myself in nature, and learning.

I hope to hear from you soon!
