Helping you achieve profound transformation through trauma-focused individual and couples services

We provide personalized, trauma-focused therapy that uses evidence-based techniques.

Our approach aims to help you find a resolution, not merely provide relief from symptoms.

We're here to help you manage emotional distress that affects your relationship with yourself and others.

Therapy for PTSD, depression and anxiety virtually in North Carolina

We use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) along with body-based methods to assist you in healing stressful memories and building your desired future.

We utilize Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT) to assist in restructuring the bonds between partners and nourishing the connection.

More Time. Deeper Work

Sometimes, the traditional model of psychotherapy doesn’t fit our needs. It can take too long to finally find relief from negative symptoms with just one hour per week.

That’s why we are offering 90-minute sessions. A longer, more spacious space to create even more profound changes at a much better pace.

Whether you’re dealing with trauma, managing a complicated relationship, or just wanting more time to pause and connect, these longer sessions provide the space to focus on meaningful work without the stress of time constraints.

This format may be a good fit if:

  • You might often find yourself feeling hurried or like the session wraps up too quickly, leaving you with a sense that it isn't quite finished.

  • You’re working through trauma, grief, or emotionally intense material.

  • You're participating in couples therapy or taking the time to understand relationship dynamics.

  • You prefer a slower, more contemplative pace that allows time to ground yourself and reflect.

  • You are working with a primary therapist, but looking to focus on trauma processing.

  • You want to see results sooner.

This extended format is especially supportive for:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): Longer sessions allow for the completion of all EMDR phases, including resourcing, processing, and integration, without rushing through key emotional or somatic material.

  • Trauma work: Spending more time allows us to proceed at your nervous system's pace — gently approaching and integrating trauma with care, containment, and grounding.

  • EFCT (Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy): For couples, 90 minutes provides enough time to explore emotional cycles, strengthen their connection, and mend ruptures without feeling interrupted during the process.

This is therapy that respects your nervous system’s capacity and your unique process.

We are currently in-network with Aetna.

We are considered an out-of-network provider for all other insurance carriers. We can provide a superbill (a fancy term for a receipt) to help you navigate using your out-of-network benefits (if any). We cannot guarantee the specific amount, if any, of financial reimbursement that your insurance company may provide to you.

Payments are rendered at the time of each session (credit/debit cards). HSA/FSA debit cards are also accepted.
